Right now our game machine is being moved to a different suite. I was notified in advance and planned on placing an announcement here, but I had the day wrong. Oops. Anyway, the machine is to be up and running in a couple of hours.

New servers launched: Surf and Popular maps

From today, Noobsticks have launched 2 new servers: - Surf Server: 87.238.173.186:27015 For those who like to surf around and freestyle around the map. - Popular Map Server: 87.238.173.186:27020 A normal server for 18 players, with Counter Strikes most popular maps which are: * de_inferno * de_nuke * de_train * de_aztec * de_dust * cs_italy In case you don't see the server status on the Noobticks Homepage, we have added small arrows on the left and right side of the servers above, so you can look at every server. And if you don't like clicking, feel free to use your mouse scroll to move around server info quicker. Or you can just check out on the Spec's section under "Servers" listed on your left.

New feature: Community map

Always wondered where the other Noobsticks reside? Check out the new Community map. Everyone's location has already been added, but they are only rough estimations. You can easily change them to your real locations.

Improved feature: stats

The block on everyone's user profile now shows a bit more information. Some was added for fun, and some for the sole purpose of satisfying every stats whore's needs. The general stats page has been replaced by several pages where you can look up weapon or map specific stats, as well as a nice overview of global stats and some nifty top tens of the most feared weapons. As always, suggestions and bug reports are welcome.

Expected website downtime

Later tonight we'll be offline for a short while. In the meantime the website and databases are going to be moved to a new server. The downtime itself is expected to be very short, but the DNS changes may propagate slowly for some users.
